Conservation

Mopane Safaris believes in conserving both wildlife and their habitats to ensure they are still in existence in their pristine, natural state for generations to come. We are committed to conserving these invaluable areas and wildlife as they depict nature’s beauty in a unique manner.

By choosing to come to Mopane Safaris you will be contributing to the development of many philanthropic projects such as development of these areas and the locals that live nearby, and anti-poaching campaigns, to mention but a few.

We work closely with our wildlife department and ensure we do monthly patrols to deter poachers. We have our own scouts that do joint patrols with the Wildlife Department Scouts. Our conservation efforts are now bearing fruits as can be seen from increased numbers of game and improved trophy quality year in and year out. We have a radio communication system which is effectively used by our scouts for anti-poaching.

We have a number of programs in-conjunction with the local community to help preserve our areas.
By working hand-in-hand with the community locals, we believe we can preserve wildlife for generations to come. And bring further development to the game areas with regards to infrastructure, communication and medical facilities.

Regulations are in place to ensure that wildlife hunting is inline with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Services (DNPWS).
